The FlightRiviera Full Pack is a bundle inluding the 3 following panes:
1- The FlightRiviera BasePack covers the Mediteranean French coast from La Ciotat to Menton (about 250 km) with high quality photorealistic textures. Each of the default airports on the scenery has been reworked to closely fit the phototexture with precisely aligned taxiways, buildings, and objects, greatly enhancing these from the standard Flight Simulator 2004 fare.
2 - The AutogenPack is the second pane of the FlightRiviera scenery and complements the photo-realistic BasePack (required) with buildings and vegetation mandatory to achieve a realistic visual of the area.
3 - Flight Riviera JetSet represents the 3rd pane of the Flight Riviera that comes as complementary photo-realistic scenery to the FlightRiviera Basepack (required) and the 3D Autogen objects of the AutogenPack (facultative).
FlightRiviera Full Pack is compatible with FSX and FS2004
• French Mediteranean coast photoscenery coverage.
• Textures made from high quality aerial photography (NOT satellite imagery), reworked for an optimal rendition in Flight Simulator.
• Ground textures are summer only.
• Custom mesh for the whole region.
• Custom autogen all along the cast
• Rivers, lakes and streams are faithfully represented and optimized with coast flattening (no water “climbing”). These bodies of water are landable.
• 10 airfields/airports. These airports have been optimized to fit the photoscenery perfectly : precise taxiway and apron positioning, replaced buildings and hangars, windsocks, towers, etc.
• All the airports’ surroundings have been reworked to remove the ‘cliff’ effect caused by the presence of a precise mesh under the ‘flat’ Flight Simulator runways.
• Extremely precise geo-referenced texture positioning, ensuring a maximal compatibility with scenery add-ons for this region.
• Development process fully compliant with the Microsoft SDK, ensuring a maximal compatibility with future versions of Flight Simulator.
• Open BasePack concept, allowing easy integration of scenery add-ons from other editors.
• Optimization of the default scenery components for the region, allowing a better framerate throughout the zone. With FlightRiviera BasePack installed, the framerates are actually better than the default Microsoft scenery.
• Comprehensive maps and flight documentation for all the included airports in PDF format : (Enroute, SID/STAR, IFR plates, VFR approaches and airport diagrams.)
• Autogen coverage (Trees, houses, buildings…) all over the whole Riviera area (about 12000 km2).
• Specific autogen textures provided for each region of the Riviera area.
• Night texture provided for each specific autogen texture.
• Airports of Nice and Cannes in great details including the Night textures
• Enhanced Monaco City
• Numerous 3D objects between Nice and Cannes (monuments, harbors, boats, waterfront, marinas, hotels and malls)
• Numerous scenery animations (Helicopters, Mirages 2000, French Air Patrol)
• AI Traffic (Private Jets and general aviation) extremely dense and detailed,
including realistic models and paintings
• Optimal integration of airports and 3D objects within the BasePack and
Autogen Pack
• SIA - VAC – IAC – ARRDEP cards provided for the Nice and Cannes airports and the Monaco helipad.
